I am Valery Argo, founder of Luminous You. My focus and passion is helping people with their aesthetic conditions to reach their full potential and feel beautiful, inside and out. I believe with my extensive experience, I may apply my expertise and the latest techniques and technologies to address each individual's concerns to help them look and feel their absolute best.

 

I was a practicing physician for over 25 years in Russia before moving to the United States. My specialties included OB-GYN, dermatology, emergency medicine, and nutrition. 

 

When my mom passed away at a young age I found my passion in educating people on their health and wellness and decided to become a doctor. At age 16 I enrolled in medical school, by 23 I was a fully licensed physician. As an OB-GYN surgeon, I realized I wanted to do more to help people before they needed surgery. I was one member of a small team that opened the very first holistic private clinic in Lipetsk, Russia to guide women on a more natural approach to pregnancy and delivery.

 

My interest in aesthetics was spurred by my teenage daughter's battle with acne. When I moved to the United States, I saw how much laser technology could help clients overcome the devastation of acne and scars and I have been an advocate and adopter of the latest laser technologies ever since.

 

I continue my education, attend regular conferences, and pride myself on staying up to date on the latest technologies and aesthetics advances. My goal is always to figure out a client's goals in aesthetics and find the optimal way for my clients to experience joy and real results in our joined efforts. My clients appreciate the time and knowledge I put into their unique cases and customizing their treatment plans, so they receive the best, individual results. The relationship between aesthetics, health, beauty, and lifestyle is a focus of my work.

 

I am a certified Laster Technician and Certified Laser Safety Officer by the National Laser Institute. I am trained and experienced in Fotona Laser Treatments. I am an active member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, a fellow member of the International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science, and a member of European IMCAS. I'm also trained in Advanced Aesthetic Medical Injectables including Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Sculptra and Restylane. Additionally, I possess a Physical Therapy Assistant License.
